workout of the day WOD

Forewarned, forearmed; to be prepared is half the victory.
— Miquel d Cervantes

Many athletes find themselves out on our courses far longer than they expected. You’ve been warned. Be ready to go the distance.

Get ready for endurance by practicing endurance.

Doing a Sprint? 1 hour run/jog.
Super? 2 hour run/jog/walk.
Beast-ing it? 3 hours run/jog/walk/crawl.

Do you have what it takes to be ready?

If you want to go into a Spartan Race with zero training, here is a fun read about what can happen. You might make it, but it won’t be pretty.

AROO! We’d like to thank the Spartan Nation for voting us the Best Obstacle Race in Obstacle Racing Magazine. Obstacle Racing Magazine, the sport’s leading publication, is based out of Australia.

Why Spartan Race WOD?

Because they are committed. Because they are hungry not to just show up and get through a Spartan Race, but they are hungry to show up and dominate the clock with a peak performance. Spartan Race is here to help you achieve your fitness goals.

As always, take the WOD as a general outline to best meet your current fitness and goals. We can’t dial into every Spartan’s workout schedule. Use these suggested WOD’s as a starting point to develop your own Spartan training regiment.

Please, always consult a medical professional before beginning or performing any of these workouts.
