WOD Sunday 26.01.14

workout of the day WOD

I always loved running…it was something you could do by yourself, and under your own power. You could go in any direction, fast or slow as you wanted, fighting the wind if you felt like it, seeking out new sights just on the strength of your feet and the courage of your lungs.
– Jesse Owens

Warm-up:
Run slow

Main set:
Run

Cool down:
Run slow, stretch

Let yourself go out and run without too much thought. Simply run or jog, and walk when you need to.

Considering all the baggage that’s become tied to the act of putting one foot in front of the other, it’s amazing we can even get out the door. Leave the GPS at home. Forget your usual route where you know each landmark for each 10th of a mile. Don’t even bring a watch if you can help it.

Teamwork is the ability to work as a group toward a common vision, even if that vision becomes extremely blurry.
