Whether you are doing the 8 week FITNESS Challenge or just coming along to our outdoor fitness class you will be able to join Laura Roberts who offers a Beginners Outdoor Fitness class at Wild Forest Gym to compliment her Beginners Running Class. However, it won’t be boring like a typical gym session its going to be fun and she will be incorporating some of the obstacles into some of the sessions.
Training in our 20 acres of beautiful forests is idyllic and away from the intensity and pressures that you experience in standard gyms.
Laura will help you to work on balance and building up them little muscles we forget about. For instance your ankles and feet are a massive part of your everyday life but when injured or weak they just hold you back from exercising.
The Outdoor Fitness Class will be centred around our outdoor gym (not your typical gym at all) concentrating on balance, core and a bit of upper body mainly grip strength. Plus we will raise your heart beat up at the end of the class, just to make sure you have had a good workout.
After the end of each session Laura will discuss what you feel you would like to work on. This will help her to tailor the following sessions based on your feedback, so that you can work to wards achieving your goal.
So come along and train with Laura, take in the surroundings and enjoy getting fit in the forest. With Laura’s help you will feel a bit more toned and a few kilos lighter.
